Project Overview
For more than three decades, The Hartford Insurance Co. has been an advocate of the adaptive sports movement. As a leading provider of disability insurance, the company believes that sports are a vital part of physical rehabilitation and mental health, especially for those living with disabilities.
Keep Pushing is a branded documentary, centered around The Hartford’s adaptive sports program. The film introduces us to the athletes, coaches, mentors, and event organizers who contribute to and benefit from the program, while also detailing the broader impact that sport has on our lives.
Keep Pushing also highlights the brand's relationship with Move United, a non-profit adaptive sports organization that gives athletes of all skill levels the opportunity to participate in clinics, competitions, and community.
In addition to the hero 12-minute short film, we created several other video assets for The Hartford and Move United, including profiles of individual athletes and a :30 spot.
Above, you’ll find our trailer for Keep Pushing.

A Video Campaign
With so much great footage to work with, we delivered a package of video content that included a centerpiece short film (above), profiles of individual athletes (left, top) and a :30 spot (left, bottom).
Our shoot took place across several days and four cities. Seeking to capture both the energy and beauty of each event, we used a variety of cameras — from drones to GoPros to RED cameras with vintage Meru anamorphic lenses.
In the end, Mill Colourist Ashley Woods applied a rich and cinematic grade, giving everything a colorful and uplifting look & feel.
